Pull the hubs and spindles off.
Pull the Drivers side axle out of the diff. It WILL fit thru the steering knuckle but sometimes they're tite fit. Drivers side will pull right out of the Diff.
Slide under the truck and find the rubber boot on the passenger side axle. Cut the zip ties or whatever holds it together. Pull the OUTER SECTION out of the knuckle. There will still be a stub shaft assembly that stays in the diff. Undo the pinch bolt on the left side (Drivers) of the diff. Undo the bolts on the front of the TT Beam. That diff is OUT BABY!!!! Dont drop it though, the casting is aluminum.

AND be careful with those triangular shaped bolts when you put the thing back together. My suggestion is to get that whole TT Beam out of the truck to help make life easier when you have to bolt it back to the diff....otherwise have a VERY GAY time trying to reseal it.

Good Luck.

You will have to pull the passenger side to pull the outer axle shaft out, the inner shaft stay with the diff as it is held in with a c clip. There is also a pinch bolt on the drivers side of the diff that you have to remove. When you get it out, cut the bolt head in a D shape, it makes it sooo much easier to install it and remove it again if you need to.

You can't get the bolt to clear the radius arm right?

You either have to pull the radius arm or get in there with a die grinder with a cut off wheel and cut the head of the bolt inhalf to make it D shaped. Then it slides past the radius arm and out

yes i cant get it to clear the radius arm im going to have to pull the radius arm off because if i cut a d in the bolt head it still wont clear it its abit different because the radius arms are homemade.

Ah well that sucks, I'm still using the stock arms so the D bolt head trick works great.

Good luck

The coil spring? You will have to disconnect the shock, the sway bar down link if you still have the sway bars on the truck. Then unbolt the coil spring retainer nut at the bottom of the coil spring (its 1 1/8" size wrench or socket) Let the beam droop as far as it will go, sometime you have to push down on the hub with your foot, but you can get the coil out without a spring compressor. You might have to remove the brake caliper as the brake flex line might be too short to let you droop the axle beam all the way.

Any other questions let me know

Sheldon, dont forget to bend the tabs straight that hold the spring in the top bucket. (That is if the guy that lifted that truck bent them back over when he reinstalled them)
