crappers. i am a total bonehead. here i though we were all going to head out from the town of telkwa. where the friggin is copper bridge???? come to think of it, where is telkwa pass. didn't find much while trying to work today. and just found this. http://www.telkwa.com/images/things/bik ... a_pass.gif looks like a deadly trip. but if you guys are heading out from terrace way - that leave me out. come to think of it, there is a bridge going into your town, and before that is some motel copper something eh?

of course you could just as easily start in telkwa, and make your way home en route. otherwise, my winch which has never been unwound will stay neat and mud free. fooey!

We're leaving Terrace and heading through the pass to Telkwa, then returning to Terrace again via the Pass.

It is a pretty melow drive.

i am trying to squeeze the shit out of a beaver nickel this weekend and could have done the long way around from terrace if not too late in the day.

this might still work: how long is the trek one way? would i run into trouble double backing it on my own (could drive out on your home leg on monday, though would not want to be screwed and on the trail come when it gets dark.)

Thought it was like a 2-3 hour drive????

Either way, my cousin took his bone stock 2003 ford escape through there last year, so its not much on the difficulty scale.

right, who would have guessed it was anything near 6 hours. but then top speed is gonna be 30 or 40 most of the way.

think i best rough it out closer to home since there is no shortage of stuff to get done before gets really cold. next time. i am a bit in the hills on buck flats and feels like a good chill in the air. don't be surprised to be iced over if you are camping higher up....

have a great ride.
