 Post subject: Ranger's getting a logger box

Well i've been busy modifying a logger style box to fit on the ranger. I'm tired of leaning it up on trees and having the sheetmetal bend all to shit.

So far i've built new larger and wider fender openings, bobbed the box 8", and added some body armor/side skirts to the box.

Still need to locate the filler neck, prep the box for bedliner, prep the sides for paint and the bottom for rock guard.

I'm not sure about keeping the box black. I might get some paint mixed to match the truck and spray the sides, painting the skirting/fenders rockguard black like the lower body line of the cab. I think it just looks out of place being black.

Also have to cut the frame back to the shackles and build a receiver hitch rear crossmember and a build a bumper.

ya i agree deffinatly going to be along stronger but i perfer the look of the stock ranger box more.

looks badassss man, always been a fan of logger boxes, tuff as shit. Are you goanna build a headache rack and rails into it as well?

The box is pretty much all complete now and painted.

I've got a swing out tire carrier tail gate that is reversable that i just finished building. I will post new pics of everything soon.

i like it now looks much better with it painted it just didnt look like when it was black good work.
