So you ended up going with the 4.88's .

How do you like them?

That sounds kind of odd....i know you can only get up to 4.88's for the newer d35's in the 98 and up low pinion d35 in the new rangers and explorers....

The Dana 35 reverse rotation hi pinion 5.13's in the 90-97's are avaliable all over the place....

Randy's Ring and Pinion has them

So does the The Ranger Station:

Its a low pinion Dana 35 in the front of 98+ rangers and 95+ explorers.

I dunno where they are getting there info from, but i'm a Ford trained technician, and Ford calls it a low pinion Dana 35.
